Franklin County Busted Mugshots is a private reference service, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody or release, post bond, arrange a release, or retrieve an official booking file. Direct those needs to the government office that holds the record.

For a formal county request, the Sheriff Public Records Officer is Joy Gibson. Submit through the county's Public Records page, its GovQA portal, or the published request form. The county records office line is 509-546-5836. Under RCW 42.56.520, the agency's initial response is due within five business days; RCW 42.56.120 permits applicable copy charges. Neither rule requires disclosure of confidential material.
Court records do not go through the general county public-records route. Use Franklin County Court Records or the Clerk's records-request form for a court file, case copy, or disposition question.
Match the question to the office that actually maintains the record:
- For current county custody and visible booking information, begin with the official FCCC Inmate Inquiry.
- For a Sheriff or county-held record, use the Public Records and GovQA route above. Ask for a specific releasable record rather than assuming a booking photo is public.
- For a case result, docket, filing, or court copy, contact the Court Records office or Clerk, not the general county records office.
- For a sentenced state prisoner, use the Washington DOC incarcerated-person search.
- For a federal detainee or an immigration-detention question, use the official BOP locator or ICE Online Detainee Locator as applicable.
- For a concern about a possible warrant, see the Most Wanted page for the court, Sheriff, and attorney-focused confirmation path.
